Hospital Wards

The Hippocrateon Private Hospital has single, double and triple rooms, as well as suites, which are fully equipped to best serve you during your stay.

All rooms have their own bathroom or shower, TV, telephone, internet access, central air conditioning system and nurse call systems.

We would like to inform you that:

Patient Meals and Nutrition

During your hospital stay, breakfast, lunch, dinner and various drinks will be provided.

If you would like any other food than what is provided in the hospital, please advise our nurses in advance and if your Doctor agrees, we will make every effort to accommodate your personal meal preferences.

Our goal is to promote healthy eating and ensure that all our patients receive a proper and nutritionally balanced diet during their hospitalisation. Our nutrition programme is a collaborative effort between the hospital and nutrition departments of the University of Nicosia and the European University.

Hygiene and Infection Control

The Hippocrateon Private Hospital operates an Infection Control Programme which is based on international best-practice guidelines for prevention of infection transmission in hospital care.

To reduce the risk of infection while in hospital, you are asked to:

Visiting hours

Our visiting hours are 17:00 – 18:00.

Visiting patients in hospital is beneficial to their psychology and recovery, so we welcome visitors but for the comfort of all patients, please speak in low tone and respect the privacy and need for rest of other patients. Also, please refrain from gathering in hallways and outside the doors of the ward you are visiting. Visitor waiting areas are available throughout the hospital.
