Microsurgery Department

Microsurgery is a specialised surgical discipline that has evolved rapidly in recent years and has yielded spectacular results. It is used to construct and restore the form and function to individuals impaired by cancer, trauma or deformity. Its aim is to provide the patient with the most complete functional and aesthetic rehabilitation.

The surgical team in the Microsurgery Department of the Hippocrateon Hospital is well trained and has the necessary experience in the application of microsurgical techniques in the field of Orthopedic Surgery (led by Dr Akis Loizides) and Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (led by Dr Gregorios Lambropoulos).
