Research-Teaching Work: Rich research work in the field of atherosclerotic disease and familial hypercholesterolemia in collaboration with the Department of Internal Medicine of the Medical School of the University of Ioannina and the Department of B' Molecular Genetics & the Forensic Genetics Laboratory of the Cyprus Institute of Neurology and Genetics, which has produced more than 100 publications in international reputable and Greek journals (www.ncbi.gov/entrez/query.fcgi search for miltiadous g). For the above work he was elected and participated in the 5th edition of Who's Who in Medicine and Healthcare magazine and in the edition of The Cambridge Blue Book-2005. Speaker in more than 30 international and local scientific medical conferences on atherosclerotic disease and familial hypercholesterolemia. Participation in the teaching of students of the Medical School of the University of Ioannina during the period 2002-2005, after election by the Department of Internal Medicine of the Medical School of the University of Ioannina. Finally, writing chapters in the book Fenofibrate: Metabolic and pleiotropic effects, Department of Internal Medicine, of the Medical School of the University of Ioannina.
